Characterising the molecular and immunological responses of prostate cancer to high-dose rate brachytherapy using the RadBank cohort

This talk will cover recent work on the transcriptomic, proteomic, dosimetric and immunological changes that occur in patient-matched RadBank biopsies taken before and after a single 10 Gy dose of high-dose-rate brachytherapy. These data represent original insights into the biology of radiation-induced changes in the prostate and provides first-in-human data to guide the development of novel combinatorial therapies that improve outcomes for localised prostate cancer.
