Prehabilitation involves a coordinated effort by a team of clinicians to optimise patients' physiology and psychology prior to cancer treatments and surgery.
It is a relatively new and novel concept in perioperative care. This presentation will look at the rationale for prehabilitation, the current evidence and will also describe the model of care at Peter Mac's Prehab service.
